Film Details (Stage 3)

 StudioBinder and Film Details

Where:

The location of our film's opening scene will be Coconut Creek High School. Throughout the scene, the actors will be moving throughout the school, going to locations like the hallway and the bathroom. Our crew chose this location because it fits the them of our film, Classroom Killer, since classrooms are normally found in schools, and we have students as our characters in the film. Our shooting schedule will be located at Coconut Creek High School from ~12:00-1:30.

Who:

The actors in my film will be Sebastian Silva, Angelo Douglas, and Anthony Suarez, possibly including cameos from different people in our shooting location (not confirmed yet). Sebastian Silva will be the antagonist of the movie, who is possessed by a demonic entity and is transformed into a murderer. Angelo Douglas and Anthony Suarez will be the students who witness their friend commit a murder, and hence by the end of the story they save the remaining people in the school. No preparations for our shooting will be needed since we, the crew behind the film, go to the same school and remain in it until the end of the school day, giving us the advantage of not having to arrange meetings.

Film Look, Feel, and Sound:

Our film will  contain low lighting, handheld and point of view shots, and eerie/mysterious music to create tension during the opening scene. We would include props like classrooms, hallways, uniforms, etc to emphasize the fact that our movie is situated in a school. The dialogue in our film will not need to be edited into it, unlike screams and music, since it will be recorded alongside the video. The technology we will use to record/edit our film are phones and computers, specifically an editing software called DaVinci Resolve 16.

Storyboard:

Our storyboard will include details like shot type, shot number, shot duration, a sketch of how the shot should look, and a brief explanation of what will happen during the shots. The main feeling for our audience that we are aiming for is tension and/or suspense. This is because of the many sound effects and conventions we will use to create these feelings. For example, the first shot in our storyboard shows Sebastian's menacing facial expression, hinting at the fact that Sebastian is the killer in the film.
